Project ITAP MENTORS 2.0
(Intensive Technical Assistance Provision in Mentoring, Engaging, Nurturing, and Training for Optimal Results and Success)

Mentoring the mentors—particularly Assistant Principals, Head Teachers and Master Teachers—is essential in strengthening their capacity to provide effective instructional supervision and mentoring to newly hired teachers with 0–3 years of teaching experience. As mentors of mentors, Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring that instructional supervision, particularly classroom observation, is conducted consistently, developmentally, and aligned with DepEd standards. Strengthening the mentors’ knowledge and skills will enable them to provide constructive feedback, targeted coaching, and sustained professional support that contribute to improved teaching practice and learner outcomes.

This Project ADAPT: Adapting Digital Assessment Performance Tools aims to address the present gaps in the academic achievement of the learners. Assessment tools will be administered to learners using digital tools. The situations, examples (food, places, etc.), and activities shall be based on the context of the learners in Angeles City. Through this project, learners will be assured of quality education that will help them become globally competitive.

Project LISTEN 4.0

Description

Project LISTEN 4.0 is a literacy intervention initiative of the Schools Division Office of Angeles City that aims to strengthen the foundational literacy skills of Key Stage 1 learners through engaging, age-appropriate audio learning materials. By developing and producing audiobook versions of selected storybooks from the Bureau of Reading Treasury's Gawad Teodora Alonso collection, the project supports the DepEd Aral Reading Program and promotes inclusive, learner-centered instruction. Through the use of technology-enhanced supplementary learning resources, Project LISTEN 4.0 seeks to improve listening comprehension, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and learner engagement, particularly among beginning and struggling readers.
