Science In Action (SIA) is an engaging activity that encourages active participation and deep cognitive involvement, allowing learners to conduct practical science investigations using various available equipment within the school. Its primary objective is to enhance the science process skills of students, fostering a progression from foundational to advanced levels of competency. Typically scheduled after the completion of periodic tests, this hands-on, minds-on experience allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, promoting a holistic understanding of scientific concepts.
(Science Mind Challenge)
Science Mind Challenge is a dynamic and engaging assessment reminiscent of an interactive quiz bee infused with game-based elements. It is administered approximately one week before the upcoming quarterly or periodic test. This innovative approach is designed with a dual purpose: firstly, to gauge the extent of learners’ mastery over the Science learning competencies, and secondly, to pinpoint those individuals who may require additional assistance or intervention. Through this method, the assessment serves as both a motivational challenge and a diagnostic tool, providing valuable insights into the student’s grasp of the subject matter and highlighting areas for targeted support.
(Science Investigatory Projects and Robotics)
A project for Special Science (SSES and STE) learners that focuses on Science Investigatory projects and Robotics. It aims to enhance the research skills of learners in conducting Science Investigatory projects ( Life, Physical, Computational Science, and Robotics and Intelligent machine (RIM)
